The Pain of Loss
I did not know you.
But you were mine.

We had just a few moments. A few years.
But I remember now.
You were mine.
Holding me, and letting me go.
Remembering Love brings completion.

Love is everlasting.’

The Heart Knows
I do not know you.
But I felt your heart beat.
Beating. Pulsing. Remembering.
That was you.
Somehow, I know you.
God’s Will in all matters, prevails.
The Divine Plan underlies all destiny.

It is important
to recover yourself.
Offers attempt to twist and pervert sorrow,
to focus on pain, ache, loss.
I do not consent.
I remember, Love.
The angels told me
‘Give it to God,

Love and Joy, return to my heart.
I can feel them, bubbling up now.
All is well, truly.
Birds sing, the sun, rises.
Every day now,
Joy returns.
I become, more of who I am, in every way.
