Essential Soul
Where has the time gone,
the years gone,
the days?
Each night we sit by the fire
raise our glass to the blaze
and sing our fireside songs
Our voices echo
out, and back,
across the water
Our hearts as one
for the moment
sing along
Raise your glass to the sky
Throw it crashing to the fire
This time is as endless
as we are worthy
This time is as precious
as we are strong
