What is Service to Soul?
Service to Soul acknowledges our inherent value as human beings.
In essence, service to Soul is treating our human self with the knowledge that we are inherently worthy and deserving, not because of anything we have done, or not done, but because we are divine children of the Creator, because we are Soul incarnate, because the spark of God resides within, in the portal of our hearts.
Service to soul acknowledge the co-creation between ourselves as a human being, and as a living, incarnate Soul – as a divine spark of God, as a child of the Creator in a body.
Aligning with the Soul’s path occurs through the portal of the heart.
A great example of Service to Soul is to follow your inner guidance, to follow the path of your heart, of your Soul’s journey, with trust, in faith. It can be a challenging road, but one with unexpected benefits, and one in which you receive love that feels like love – from yourself, most importantly, and from others also.
Service to Soul puts ourselves and our humanity, first.
Interesting that this is the case, isn’t it? But, to be able to love outside of ourselves, and I mean truly love, without condition, requires being fully loving and accepting of ourselves, first.
It requires honoring, loving unconditionally, accepting, and allowing that we are all of who we are. Service to Soul doesn’t leave out our bad and only allow our good; it isn’t all light with no darkness – both of these approaches are polarized positions that can only exist in an environment of dual choices; an environment where unconditional love does not exist.
Unconditionally accepting, unconditionally loving, is a non-dual proposition. It means that our strengths are as valued as our weaknesses, our bad side as important as our good side.
Service to Soul unconditionally, and with great care, loves and accepts all of who we are, all that has happened to us, all of what we are capable of – good and bad, with patience and loving acceptance.
When we are treating our whole selves with care, everyone else benefits.
A great example of this is the instruction on airlines to put the oxygen mask on yourself first, in an emergency – because you cannot help anyone else if you are passed out from depriving yourself! By making sure that you are nourished, you are able to nourish others, also.
Service to Soul is the middle path.
Service to Soul walks the middle path between two polarized ways of looking at the world.
Service to Soul can be contrasted with “service to self” and “service to others”, both which have been written about repeatedly in the consciousness community, in the lightworker community, and so on.
Service to self is characterized by service to one’s self, exclusively. And service to others is characterized by service to others, often elevated and considered more important than also caring for and receiving for one’s self.
Let’s see: spiritual people with values are poor, unethical business people are rich, and so on – all the stereotypes fit into these two categories of service to others, and service to self.
With the Service to Soul approach, we can achieve wealth as a spiritual person, because we allow ourselves to receive from others, and with the service to Soul approach, we can succeed as an ethical business person because we are practicing business, consciously, and with consideration of how our activities influence and effect the people and the world around us. (And often, we are secretly spiritual as well!).
Service to Soul is accepting of our whole self.
Service to Soul accept our good sides as much as our bad sides. The unconditional approach of this love for ourselves sees all of who we are, and values us all.
Being only all good, denies an entire half of the self, and creates a huge “shadow self” whose emotion and experiences eventually require acknowledgement or these will show up as disease and other happenings. In addition, we often require the expertise of our “bad” self to get through life in this world – often it is our strength, denied.
Let me give some real life examples from the real experiences of my own and clients and friends I have worked with:
Did you hurt someone with your words? Your strong voice isn’t bad – you have the ability to use it to speak out.
Did you kill hundreds of people savagely with your sword in past lives? You have the fearlessness and extraordinary courage to act in extraordinary ways in this lifetime.
Was motherhood of primary importance to you in the past, but a secret pain because it is not an option in this lifetime? You have the ability to teach the world, through starting and nurturing communities you love.
Were you a fierce extraterrestrial in a past lifetime, chasing down others in your star fighter like in Star Wars? You have the strength to stand up for yourself in this lifetime, and to be a beacon of light for others in the UFO community.
Were you abused in ways that you cannot talk about, because the intensity can not be understood by almost anyone you could talk to? You have the ability to inspire others, because they couldn’t kill your heart and soul connection – you can inspire millions.
Can you rage against others and even mortally wound them? You have the ability to stand up for what is right, and to walk the path of darkness fearlessly, shining your light in places where others cannot survive.
Services to Soul does no harm.
And, this doesn’t mean that no one is ever hurt; it means that we follow our Soul’s guidance, even when our minds cannot understand.
Service to Soul means that all is well, always. It means that dark deeds and events are turned to our highest good by God. It means that there are no mistakes. It means that we can forgive ourselves and love ourselves, anyway, no matter what has occurred.
Sometimes life knocks us on our ass, and I believe Life itself, in these circumstances, is doing what is in highest good from Soul’s perspective, and that we then make the best of the circumstances – turning the storms in our life into the miracles of our lives.
Sometimes life just happens – and we rise to the challenges, or we don’t. But there isn’t a judgement by Soul about this, at all, though there may be benefits and consequences, because this is how life on earth works.
Service to Soul, on the bad side, is not abusive or parasitic in our behavior. But importantly, on the good side, service to Soul does not give up our life out of obligation in service to others, and service to Soul does not mean we need to commit ourselves to a life of poverty of resources to do good, either.
Service to Soul means we make conscious choices, at the highest level of awareness we can.
Service to Soul does means that whatever we are capable of, good and bad, we get to make a choice of how we act, of what we think, of how we feel, of who we engage with, of what we will accept, and we get to receive the flow of what Soul sends to us.
With Service to Soul, our value is mirrored back to us in what transpires in our world, our wealth is real and extraordinary, it is tangible and intangible.
A great example of service to Soul I recently experienced was a challenging conversation I had with dear friends. I questioned why my guidance took me in the direction of addressing topics that were uncomfortable, yet, months later it is clear that this benefitted myself, as I moved onto a new path, with possibilities opening I never imagined, and it benefitted them also, in ways that were not able to be understood or seen ahead of time – and we are still engaged in activities together.
Here is another example of service to Soul – I had a client meeting one day, and minutes beforehand, I opened the refrigerator to what at first impression looked like blood – it was red juice in pools and dripping down the front of the shelves – an open bag of berries had somehow been left in the fridge and not the freezer. It was striking and I knew that it related to the upcoming session.
Now, this client was not outwardly spiritual, but a professional for a big corporation, so I wasn’t sure how it would go to bring up my “inner guidance” – what I view as Soul’s message – that blood overflowing was somehow important to the session, and to find out it’s meaning for the client.
About half way through the session, after getting comfortable and making some progress together, I rather tentatively brought up the image of blood flowing and the state of my refrigerator, and I asked if it meant something to the person.
It turned out that the person’s teenager was a cutter (cut their own skin and drew blood) – and that this client had to pick up sheets filled with blood from their room – and we were able to work through the distress of this situation with compassion, together.
This is the magic of living from the heart – and loving all without conditions.
Service to Soul emanates from the heart.
In the human body, service to Soul is a physical experience as well as an energetic and spiritual experience. It is a mental experience, and an emotional experience also.
Physically, service to Soul resides in the heart. There is a spot in the heart where surgeons know they cannot cut during surgery, or the patient perishes. I believe that this point is the physical representation of our connection to Soul; to God; to our divine spark that powers this human body.
Spiritually, service to Soul is energetic – the gorgeous loving energy of Soul pours through our energy fields and the feelings are simply amazing to experience; they feel wonderful, and being and feeling loved no matter what feels amazing, like the greatest gift life could offer – pure love, no matter what I have done, no matter who I am.
Emotionally, service to Soul occurs when our heart is open and able to experience unconditional love, and when we are willing to both give and receive. The awe, the appreciation, the love and acceptance and grace I feel from my connection with Soul fills me with gratitude. This is God’s love for us, the Creator’s love, especially for the uniqueness of who we are.
Mentally, service to Soul is a construct where the mind comes to understand that it is okay and that it is safe for the human being to act in ways that are guided from the heart. The mind’s job is to protect us and to limit us from unusual experiences and experiences the mind considers unsafe for our physical being; relaxing the mind and allowing Soul’s energies in supports us in freeing us from habituated loops in thinking.
Service to Soul and Personal Energy Management
Service to Soul is an aspect of personal energy management. When we align with Soul’s impulses and guidance coming through us – through our Higher Self, through our inner guidance, and so on – we are consciously managing our energy at a very high level of competency.
The other aspect of this is that we are human beings with free will choice ability, and Soul wishes for us to make our choices – that is part of why we are here.
I align my free will with my Soul – and sometimes, my Soul’s guidance is ‘hey, you choose here’, because I am human, and I get to do this, and, God wants to be surprised, if you want to view it that way.
The personal energy management of service to Soul, is consciously choosing to manage our energy from our still point or center point – from the point in our hearts of our Soul connection. From this state of non-duality, we can view the polarities of circumstances, and choose to stand, lovingly, on the neutral territory of the middle ground.
Energetically, we are centered in our bodies, we are grounded into the Earth, our Soul’s energies are grounded into our bodies, and we claim our personal energy space and our personal sovereignty as a divine child of creation.
The Physics of Service to Soul – the Physics of Energy
When we are in conscious and aware service to Soul, we are managing our personal energy at the fifth dimensional level and at higher frequencies and dimensions, also – this is my view.
From my view, this is a fifth dimensional state of being that we achieve as physical human beings – it combines our third and fourth dimensional physical and non-physical aspects in a non-dual state of being, which is the same as a fifth dimensional state of being.
And, we do this, while we are living in the body – as divinely empowered human beings.
